La Vie en Rosé

Dry rosé quality wine

Vineyard location and characteristics: White and red soil joined together in a single glass, namely this wine is a blend of fruits from vineyards spread on flysch hills underneath the city of Buje and those from the fertile Istrian red soil from the surroundings of the village of Petrovija.

Vinification and maturing: The must maceration lasts for 8 to 10 hours, which is enough to extract the wine’s desired color intensity. What follows next is the vinification period in stainless steel barrels until last spring when the wine is ready for bottling.

Color: Lively ruby with garnet reflections

Bouquet: Fruity, with sensible notes of ripe strawberry and raspberry that hide a delicate fragrance of rose petals

Taste: Dry and fruity, strawberry and raspberry aromas, reflects with its freshness a typical minerality of the Istrian soil, very elegant and exceptionally smooth wine

Gastronomic recommendation: In the summer months definitely recommended as an aperitif, goes well with seafood, especially oysters and raw shrimp, raw tuna, tuna steak, lighter meat dishes and cold cuts depending on the serving temperature of the wine
